many sucessful MLM company perform extremely well in emerging market. One of the reason is the people there need $ for survival. In developed market there are more distribution channel that already cut off the middle man. consumer is well educated and are smarter in making comparision. Alternate product is just a click away by using the internet.
Reply:Emerging markets often are better for MLM companies due to less saturation (ie:not yet bombarded by thousands of MLM co's) and a greater need (desire) to improve one's lot in life. Seems that there is less resistance to bring family/friends into the "opportunity" than there is in more developed markets, especially when the first person actually makes some money.
