I have a self employeed network marketing business that I have lost money in and want to right off, how can I go about doing this?

Reply:You can write off or deduct qualified business expenses on a Schedule C Form 1040 Profit or Loss From Business (Sole Proprietorship) - if you spent more than you made it will count as a loss against any other income that you made. If this was your sole source of income and you haven't paid any taxes to be refunded or your tax liability was zero to start with, you might want to consult an accountant about how best to do this.
