I have recently joined a network marketing business. Guide me in my progress.?
That's a fairly open ended question...it's hard to guide you in your progress without knowing how you're progressing.

For a high level guide, here's some basic advice:

1- Be honest. Network marketing / MLMs have a bad rep already. Be sure to be completely honest with any prospects. Don't try to deceive or hide anything...that just makes things worse.

2- Learn the basic information about your particular business. You need to know your compensation plan well enough that you can explain to someone how it is they'll make money with you. You also need to know the initial investment cost and the monthly maintenance/membership costs.

3- Set realistic goals for yourself and for your new enrollees. For example, I have a goal to sign up one new person each month and to help each new person set and achieve the same goal.

4- Stay in contact with your upline and any corporate communication lines. Information is vital. Be sure to maintain frequent communication with your upline mentors and to stay abrest of any new announcements from the corporate HQ.

5- Stay in contact with people you enroll. Too often I see people just turn into enrolling machines where they sign people up and then just drop them. You need to be a good mentor for the people you enroll to help them understand the business. Otherwise, they'll just drop out.

6- Don't give up. Network marketing is HARD WORK. Most of the people in network marketing are NOT marketers (which may seem strange since the business is called a "marketing" business). Because of this, growing the business puts many of us out of our comfort zone. You'll have to work hard to find those "golden" prospects that want to sign up and build a business with you. But if you don't work hard, you won't sign anybody up...and as a result, you'll find yourself wondering why you're not earning any money.

I'd gladly chat with you in more specific detail if you have additional specific questions or concerns that would allow for a more specific guide.
Reply:Learn as much as you can about the business.

Read books such as "Network Marketing for Dummies" by Zig Ziglar--there are many other good books, I just happened to like that one.

Buy a training course from:

Tim Sales: http://professionalinviter.com or

Dani Johnson: http://danijohnson.com or

MLMU (MLM University): http://www.mlmu.com/freecoachcall.html

Tom "Big Al" Schreider - http://fortunenow.com

[Note: Those are NOT affiliate links--neither are the ones below]

Take advantage of all the training your company provides.

Participate on forums such as http://wahm.com (click on "Message Board" on left nav bar) or http://mlm.com or http://conqueryourniche.com

Take a small business course at your local community college. If they have a course on network marketing, by all means take it! Join a local network marketing group--if you live in a big city there's bound to be one.

I hope this helps.

I wish you massive success!

Reply:Find a mentor in your upline.

I struggled until I did this myself. Someone that is successful will gladly show you what is working for them because if you succeed they succeed.

Good Luck!
Reply:Here's the best guidance I can give you- don't leave your life in someone else's hands. Organizations that seek to "improve" your life by taking it over (which they ARE, look for it) only seek to improve their own wallets at the expense of your life.

The only real progress you'll ever make will start when you turn around and walk out the door.
