I am a sophomore in high school and my GPA is about 3.40 and i plan to raise it over 3.50 so what college will be best for me if i want to be a computer programmer and also pretty advanced in networking because even the smallest of the smallest business have a network and they also need programmers
(except MIT and CIT) Because these are just too hard
Is Cal Poly a good school
What college is best for you if you are interested computer programming and networking.?
Yes Cal Poly is a good school and the general rule is to always go after the best school but you should pick schools that are good for your specific program.
Also computer programming and networking are usually two different careers paths. If your going to do computer programming that is a Computer Sci major while networking is more of a MIS major.
Your GPA might not be able to get you into the top schools in the area. But if your considered Cal Poly also consider state schoos like San Jose State, they have a good MIS and computer programming and engineering program.
I suggest concentrate only on one of those IT fields. I personally like networking more then programming.
