Reply:Yes! I have three home businesses. I make and design eveything I sell. One of them is two years old and is was so successful I started two more this year. I found the right products for the right market, learned how to market the products, got three websites for extreemly low monthly cost and work my fingers to the bone. I do work about 18 hrs a day 7 days a week for now. I have two employees that also get to work at home. You have to put a lot of effort into it no matter what it is you are interested in. Dont just work at a job, love what you do.
Reply:This is a loaded question and prime for being spammed. Though there are several network marketing companies I would consider having the ability to generate income; finding one can be a challenge, especially when there are so many to consider.

Having a SUCCESSFUL home based business can be very rewarding BUT requires a LOT of work. And most truly successful owners DO NOT just sit and click their way to making money.. it will require human contact.
Reply:i know 2 guys who actually make money from home -- the thing is that one of them has MBA in finance and works as stock trader from home and the other one has MSc in computer science and works as web developer from home. A third example with a guy who was just lucky to enroll in MLM schema in its early days and was lucky for a second time to find hardworking people under him (again, i claim that its just a pure luck as it could have been if he has won the lottery).


Otherwise, if you are looking for general type skills of 'home business' my hard answer is NO - i've never seen reliable evidence for someone making money that way.
Reply:Yes, my husband and I have been involved with ours for a while and its proving successful. I believe that any home business can be successful no matter what it is. You just need to put the right amount of motivation and determination into it and you will get results. Ours involves the travel industry so its a little easier to get people to look at it because travel sells itself, you dont have to sell that.


I think that is the only downfall to home businesses, getting people to take you seriously enough to look at it.

Reply:Well, first of all it depends on what your definition of successful is. I don't have a home business, rather I am in a network marketing business: Mona Vie. Granted, I haven't made truckloads of money, but since I have been in the company, I have enjoyed getting to know the people I have met, I have made friends, I have had fun doing it, I have made great professional contacts in other industries, and I believe in the products that we sell. In my opinion, I have had honest success with Mona Vie.

That is not to say it was fast and easy like most claim. It takes time and patience. And a mind set of never give up. With the right program and guidence (training and support) you can create a considerable income for yourself.

I've been online for a year now. I started without knowing where to start. So I did the worst I could do (I didn't know that then), I signed up for 50-80 websites - click, click, click and click all day long just to get some cents by the end of the day. The ones that aren't scams actually require work on your part - and if you're in need of money soon then you're likely to be sorely disappointed in any of those as well.
