Boomer is obviously uneducated in marketing if he thinks that all products can be sold through Home Depot and Walmart.
What made me join network marketing was a variety of reasons, the obvious ones being that I can work from home, no commutes, no cap on my salary, time for my family and hobbies, choose who I work with, free websites, intense business training, etc.
I have always had a passion for helping other people. I enjoy troubleshooting and problem solving, and I can use all of these tools in my business to show others how to earn an income from home as well as helping them solve a variety of health issues.
But most importantly, I use it as a vehicle to increase my net worth. Because there is unlimited earning potential, as well as residual income, it gives me the time, money and freedom to pursue other investments.
I couldn't possibly earn as much money in the regular work world, it just can't be done.
What will make you join a networking business?
Only if I start it.
Pyramid schemes are only good if you're the Eye in the Triangle. Other than that, I want lots of cash up front. Not a bunch of useless "inventory" in my garage...
Caution is required on all such "networking" matters. If it's too good to be sold through Home Depot, Lowe's or Walmart, or any other competitive standard outlet, it's too good to believe.
