The biggest differences are going to be the size of you database and your security. Businesses are going to need dedicated storage area and firewalls and/or proxy servers. Home networks can do most of this through software instead of hardware.
Differences between a home network and a small business network?
security, redundency and a lot of money. small buisness must be able to pass hacker-proof bars in order to keep secure data sound. banks and the like must get weekly/monthly audits and hack tests to verify the security. home networks arnt required to have any security at all.
Reply:generally in a small buisness networks you'll have a server serving all the computers in the network a small home computer generally doesnt have a server unless your loaded and you liked to do things that dont make sense at all
