independant brokers, much like real estate agent. they pay a fee to bbn to use the sight and bbn gets small cut of their commission. you are hiring a broker, not bbn. thus, what you see is what you get in terms of the individual and services performed. they are NOT regulated in any way, however bbn may use some type of screening process before they let them sign up.
i just concluded the sale of my business through a bbn agent and had no serious problems other than snags which would be expected in any such transaction. i am located in missouri and buyer was from florida. entire process from first signed offer to conclusion was 6 1/2 mo.
