How do you think it would cost to setup networking for 8 business locations to track client records?

Your going to need a VPN router at every site.


SonicWalls are Fantastic and range from £300 at the satellite sites and about a £1000 for the main one. I need to do more research.


I recommend a centrally managed server holding all client records with full backup facilities.


Merging the data if separate Ive no idea, but if its centrally managed then labour costs are vastly reduced.


Server around £2000 inc Small Business Server (SBS), Vertitas Backup Exec 11d + Tape Drive.


Its around £300 per 5 clients attaching to the server, 5 free with the initial purchase of SBS


VPN setup 8 hours


Network Admin I work on around £600 - £1000 depending on how many accounts and data security setup/backups etc
